I'd dislocated my right shoulder twice when I saw Mr Polyzois who recommended me for surgery. I found the care and communication to be excellent and after my arthroscopic shoulder stabilisation I now have full use and total confidence in shoulder and arm again.

Several years on from my previous surgery, I have been under the competent care of Mr. Polyzois for treatment to my right elbow. From the outset I have been taken by both his kindness and professionalism : from initial appointment - through diagnostics - surgical procedure - and now follow-up care. All the while carried along by his warm and wonderfully optimistic approach. In March he undertook arthroscopic debridement, anterior capsular release and removal of bodies in the elbow. I have made an excellent recovery - within several weeks regaining almost full range of motion. Beyond his obvious medical excellence ... his positive attitude contributes hugely to instilling a belief in one that, teamed with efficient rehab, a complete recovery and resumption of full activity is possible! I am optimistic that the awaited PRP will complete my treatment and result in my attaining the above. I count myself fortunate to have been referred to Mr. Polyzois, and grateful for the care I've received from the NHS.

I visited Mr Polyzois in January 2018 due to ongoing pain in my left shoulder with pain travelling down my arm to my fingers. During the initial consultation I also had x-rays. He referred me to have an additional MRI which I had in February (I had to wait a few weeks as I had to be 8 weeks clear after a previous unrelated operation in December). At the follow up consultation with Mr Polyzois the MRI results showed shoulder impingement. I then had 3 steroid injections a few days after that with weekly physio sessions for a few months (total of 7 sessions to date). I am now able to move my left arm more freely than before and have absolutely no pain in my shoulder. I am very pleased with the outcome and would recommend Mr Polyzois very highly.

I have been attending Mr Polyzois’s specialist clinic for treatment of a three part displaced fracture of the proximal humerus. Given the relative severity of the injury after a fall, I am delighted to have made a strong recovery with good motion in every direction and somewhat ahead of schedule. Throughout the eight months of treatment Mr Polyzois has been attentive, clear, firm and personable. At all times he has been at pains not only to explain treatment options including reconstructive surgery (thankfully avoided) but also to answer lay questions with patience and good humour. Crucially in view of the decision not to operate, his choice of physiotherapist proved first-rate. I would thoroughly recommend Mr Polyzois.

I visited Dr. Polyzois for tennis elbow which I had for over two years. He suggested platelet rich plasma treatment. I had the injection which was pretty pain free and 8 weeks later my elbow feels the best it has been for a long time. Very happy and would like to thank Dr. Polyzois for all his help and advice.
